On Friday we did some activities to revise the Parts of the Body while we watched the video of Muzzy Comes Back. Some of you did not remember how to spell some of the words. If you want to revise that vocabulary, first click here, look at the picture and study the words. Then click here, if possible print the worksheet and complete it with the corresponding words.

Some of you have asked me if I could leave a comment in your blog. I would be happy to do that if you sent me an email with the address of your blogs. I just know that they are something like www.-----.blogspot.com but I can't remember all the addresses. So if you have time, just email me with the address and I will have a look at your blogs.

As most of you had trouble doing the exercises for Unit 1 Lesson 3 I have created a new one here with the same material but different software. Please, click in comments to let me know if this worked.
The problem with the first exercise may have been that you need to have Flash 7 plugin. It is free software you need to download from this site. If you can do that perhaps you will be able to do the exercises I created before.

Hello kids,
I am glad to see that many of you are doing the exercises. I have received messages and emails from Lisandro,Lucas,Christian, Camilo, Aldana and Leandro Alvez, Nacho and Delfina. I have also received messages from Ana from ABCI. There is a Minina, too, but I don't know who uses this nickname. (I hope I am not forgetting any names).

At this stage you can already do the following exercises too: Was- Were, all the Present Tense exercises, Everyday Life, Days, Months and Seasons and all the Family Vocabulary exercises. Of course, you can also do all the exercises related to the units we have seen up to now .

Because I have seen that some of you have had trouble doing one of the matching exercises, I have decided to prepare a new exercise using another program. I would like to know if it works this time. Check tomorrow, Sunday, for a new post saying which exercise has replaced the one that required an ID.

As for the story of the Snail, has anyone read it and answered the question? If you have read it and know the answer, don't forget to post it in Comments.

Dear kids,
I have added several exercises which I would like you to do to the Grammar Links section. Some of the exercises were created by other teachers. One of them is a dear colleague, Ms. Teresa D'Almeida, a teacher who also teaches a 6th grade but in Portugal.
The new exercises are the ones related to Simple Present and vocabulary about Family. Please, try to do them this week as they are related to the unit we are doing about Families.

Hi everyone,
This is my new Blog, especially created to keep in touch with my 6th grade students at Escuela de la Ciudad. Can you believe it is January and I am already thinking about the class that will only start in March?
Well, anyway kids, let's get ready to have a great time learning English this year! And you probably want to know what a Blog is and whether you can have your own blog.
Well, of course you can have your own. I will guide you through the process of creating your own blogs. But first let me tell you what a blog is. And, no, if you thought it was a new creature from some sci-fi film, you are wrong. A blog is like your own place in cyberspace ... a place where you can write about what you think and what you like, a place where you can post pictures and sometimes your own audio messages ... you decide what you want to add to your blog ... It is also a place you can share with friends ... so get ready to start BLOGGING!
